Meet the Owner
Les Taylor studied at Ball State University, University of Maryland, and VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, where he now teaches jazz harmony and band arranging.
He has written and published music for symphonic, concert and marching band, jazz ensemble, string orchestra, and beginning band where his Real Music for Beginning Band series remains a popular, user-friendly, and fun group of pieces to play at the early grade levels.
His compositions and arrangements have been published by Hal Leonard, Warner Brothers-Alfred, Arranger's Publishing Company, the FJH Music Company, William Allen, Northeastern Music, Educational Programs Publications, as well of his own company LTP Music.
